5. The Station *

The local train station, just after rush hour has subsided. There always seems to be someone there.

Nice angle here. I would like this even more if there would be only one figure which you have in the center now

Right on Lonnit you are now me forth favourite girl. How about some commentary to give this shot the photojournalist interest that's always needed. This is a terrific shot in its own right, well done forth favourite:-)

Thanks all. There were no rafters; this is outside. I was shooting from the overpass above, through a chain link fence! If you squint you can make out the diagonal of the fence a bit. I had the lens right up to it. Very cool how you can shoot through solid metal! It doesn't look like the subway in NY because it's not. :) It's a regular train on Long Island. I don't live in Manhattan, I live in Queens which is on Long Island. For those non-locals, NYC consists of 5 boroughs, of which Queens is one. We've got a bunch of little islands over here that we hop amongst. :) ~ Lonnit

it's a wonderful shot. great perspective. are you hiding in the rafters so the local cops don't haul you in for terrorism? btw, not to be too critical but this doesn't look like the subway in NY. it's too unpopulated...are you somewhere else?

I agree, it has a spy movie ambience...

now that is a cool shot. love the angle and perspective. it has kind of "mysterious" feel to it. -Abstract
