Tabletop Sunset *

Sitting at my dining room table I noticed a beautiful sunset reflecting on my glasstop table through French doors. I laid my A95 on the table and snapped this shot.

Beautiful colors. No need for lake in order to get beautiful sunset reflections

This looks great, has a nice circular appearance to the shot - if only you could do something about that vertical thing in the middle ;-) Neil

Now that would look better on any type of monitor..........I think:-)

No Tom, you can change your image and it is still within the rules.

Thanks for the comments, I have to agree about the frame, it was late last night and looked pretty good on my LCD at home. At work here on a CRT it looks terrible (putting it as nicely as Rod did). I thought the door column was too wide too, but didn't even think to try cropping some of it out. ARe there any rules about changing frames out? - Tom

I find it incredibly difficult not to agree with Rod here :) The frame is too big, too uneven and too loud. That big black column in the middle kinda ruins the shot for me too. I realise it's probably part of a window or something, and not easy to move, but still... If it wasn't quite so wide, the way it (along with the horizont) splits the picture into 4 pieces might work though. On the plus-side, it's one of the most interesting-looking thumbnails on the index-page =)
