To answer your question Alex, just the usual adjustment were made: levels - to add some more contrast; also saturation was reduced a bit. Finally some sharpening was applied. No special PS techniques at all.

Exactly Julian the challenge is about photos not frames, so why some people post frames I don't know. You have posted some wonderful photos all presented in left over wedding mounts which Ansel Adams Cartier Bresson & me find very distracting.
