Your meal is now served, Sir

My Living Room - NJ

At first I thought this was going to be a hard challenge, then suddenly, this idea popped into my head. Spam, the other pinkish, slimy meat. My brother eat's this stuff, bleah. This can is un opened, for good reason, as the meal is now about to be eaten, and I don't want to smell the stuff, or take care of it afterwards. Originally it was going to be a hot dog, as a hot dog has quite a bit of humor in it. But then I'd have to do something with an old, cold, hot dog afterwards. This was also going to have candle light. But with dripping wax, constent adjusting, and the possibilty of burning the house done, that was thrown right out, and right after I polished the holders. We apprently have a good china set, but no real nice silverware. I found some stuff in the attic, shined up a bit, to get rid of the rainbow hue, and used that. For this picture, it works, as I have no idea how to serve spam.

i was going for a basic look. i also don't have too many lights. 1 actually. alhtough i'm not thrilled with the shadows, i wanted a presentation feel to it, kind of like a spot light was on it. i also liked the wine shadow.

The problem is not with the subject matter - the idea is great! But Food Photography (even a can of spam) is quite a different ball game altogether. The single light creates a rather harsh effect... why not try a softer look?

that's what i was wondering. i tried a very young white wine, food color yellow, it looked like a specimin. tried mountain dew, but it had a cloudly look. i drank that one, i was so classy drinking it from that cup, i hope i don't get lead poisoning. i wanted the red deeper in color, but it will have to do.

What wine goes best with Spam Lite?
