I love film grain in some shots as well Shirley it really can add some atmosphere. I suppose that since becoming interested in digital all I read is about noise free cameras & photos etc maybe I've been brain washed:-)
I love noise! (I know, that sounds crazy, but I do like the texture it gives the image.)
This image was shot at ISO 400--Low light with my new Canon A95. Not being too sophisticated in PSCS (as yet), I appreciate the "texture" that low-light, flash off gives and have shot many no flash images during the holidays. Maybe I'm the only one who likes this look, but I would gladly add noise to an image in PS if I couldn't shoot it. Shu

Nicely shot Shirley, what iso was it taken on? As there's a fair bit of digital noise. Was that your intension? Cos you can run it through a Neat Image type program to remove it. Very good shot anyhow:-)
