2000 Shu

Old Frame *

Hartford, Conn. USA

Taken at the Wardsworth Atheneum many years ago with a 3mp digial camera, I've always
loved this image. The red door framed by a red hall is all done in my favorite color, red.

other sizes: small medium original auto

Of course it's still framed:-) & looking better. Mark's idea is quite good as well, as you only need the two verticals to be on topic.

I cropped, but do you still consider it "framed?" Shu

nice shot, shu. I'll take a slightly different approach in saying that I think it could actually be effective cropping OUT the lights altogether, to the beige wall line. IMO ofcourse It would then solidify the "shu look" of clean lines :-) Markjay

i agree with uncle roddy on cropping down past the nearest ceiling light leaving just one. I think that is what he said... the portion of ceiling that is off kilter from the rest of the picture takes away from the overall shot.

I really like this shot it worked better for me when I cropped out the ceiling down to the nearest spot light. All the elements then snapped into place. Great shot.
