Digital has a way to go yet & I haven't had much luck converting digital to B&W. I wonder if the DSLRs do a better job.

That’s a very good B&W photo. I often wonder if B&W film photos will always be better than digital.
Digital photos seem to need lots of processing to make them look good. I can’t seem to make my digital photos look good in B&W.
