Techo, Shu, and Photonut, thank you for your comments. The photo was taken in a southern facing window, but I may have had a desk lamp on as well, and then color-corrected with levels. I took so many shots to get one I liked that I really can't remember whether or not I used any artificial light. Nothing "photographic," however...just my camera and a tripod. I actually wanted to show complementary colors (opposites on the color wheel) running into each other, but I couldn't get the right shades, so I put the three primary color tubes in the background.
