The praying mantis must be very confused:-)
Who has not been fooled by a glass, at least once?

Thanks, Dorys... all because of you. I did go back to the original RAW and it didn't come out any better than this one, so maybe I wasn't so bad at Photoshop even then. But I did miss the fish in the shadows. Thank you. (By the way, it was a G1, not a G2 -- it was that old.)

i like this much better don. that punch of orange makes the shot!

Another good one, Don. From the thumbnail, I thought it was a post-processing manipulation with a fish inside the bowl and a fish outside. The larger image is much more impressive.

Thanks for the observation, Dorys. You would think that a photograph is such a small patch of life that you wouldn't miss a single detail, much less a weakness in one of the two main characters, but once you pointed it out, it was blindingly obvious. I tweaked Mr. Fish a little for the moment, but I may revisit the original RAW file and process it again. This was one of my earlier photos and my Photoshop skills are a little better now. Thank you for that.

another very intersting shot don! permit me to comment that i'd like to see a little more 'punch' to the little fishy. he's some what lost in the shadow... unless you intended it that way ?
