Tendril *

Austin, TX

This is a single tendril of a passion vine. No processing
except levels, USM, and gaussian blur. I've experimented
with the boarder. It is a uniform width as a percentage
of the picture width.

Canon EOS 10D ,Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II
0.80s f/8.0 at 50.0mm iso100 full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

I really like this picture and I'd like to add it to my wallpaper library.

Cool, Victor. Do you have edible species? The one I have here I thought was our regular Panamanian maracuya, but it turns out that it comes from some Mexican seed. If you have more information about Mexican kinds, I'd be very grateful.

Very nice "twist" on the subject. I especially like its presentation. Shu

I guess what I was trying to say was that the colors are natural. I'll have to go out tomorrow to see which one this is. I have about 8 species. -- Victor

Beautiful. What passion vine is that? I was convinced I had Passiflora edulis flavicarpa and now it turns out it wasn't. The fruit is almost dry :\

I had to laugh when you said "No processing except levels, USM, and Gaussian blur" That's processing mate & nothing to be ashamed of, a friend of mine does it all the time:-) good idea & a nice graphic.Well done.
