I think the white stripes attract too much attention. I would crop the image without them and put a minimal frame around it.

The wall in blue is MUCH more interesting than the alternative (the original color :-)

Actually, Bill, the wall is actually grey, but I mistakenly took the photo with the white balance set to indoor and it made the wall blue... I brought the outlet back to white and left the wall color as happened by accident. I might try a blue wall sometime just for fun though. Thanks.

I really like this Byron, The contrast is so loud that you cant help but look at this image!
i think the composition could not be better, and as much as i love blue, if i had a room in my home this color, I would never be able to be in it more than a minute, because it would absolutely hyperactivate me.
