I have long had an interest in alternate, and energy efficient housing. Our plan was to build a passive solar mudbrick house ourselves, but lack of time has meant that we are getting tradesmen to do most of the work -- using 'timbercrete' blocks instead of mudbricks. Now that the 'shell' is finished, we will be spending most weekends for the rest of the year finishing it.
