Keeping In Touch.*

Me and my family are all very close so we always keep in touch be it by email, by phone or by mail/post. My grandma lives close by and we visit each other quite often. She was a baker in her younger years, and suprisingly does not have a sweet tooth, even I tiny one! while, the little kid in me really enjoys sweets. She always has something special for someone's birthday or unique surprises on other days.

I spend most of my time in front the pc, mostly for work(software programming),keeping up with the news and as a hobby to also help with other hobbies. So I can easily say I spend at least half the day with the PC. So any chance I have to get away from "it" is always refreshing. Photography does that and in another way also makes me spend more time in front of the PC, either learning how to use photoshop, reading DPreview forums, or just browsing through the vast photo galleries(which is easily becoming my late night hobby).

Some people still prefer receiving letters than digimail ;-), I think it's still much more special to receive a beautiful letter(preferably handwritten, you can tell a lot more about the person, though the letter in the photo is not handwritten ;-)) from someone than just an email, though that's the thing these days and another great way to keep in touch.

Thank you for the comments :-)

Byron, the note isn't handwritten, it would take me ages to get my own handwritten letter as perfect as that ;-) I tried looking for handwritten type fonts on the internet, this one is called DearJoeII, got it from this site www.1001fonts.com, so many to pick from. I tried a few different ones, this one looked right for the job.

Great image... was the "handwriting" done by computer? If so... I love the font. If you actually wrote that by hand... that's amazing. (just too perfect for most people)

Beautiful clarity on this well-composed image. Nice sentiments indeed.
