Very nice composition....seems sharper than the G6 is capable of from all the samples I have seen. Your statement though, shouldn't it be: Without water there would be no life as WE know it.

I agree with the suggestion NOT to rotate the picture, but try the landscape orientation.

Nico, great use of b & w. I like the contrast also. What kind of lighting did you use? I noticed that the shutter speed was 1/800 which seems very fast to me. How did you allow so much light to get in? Just curious.
