I have done some postprocessing in the line of what you suggested but I supposI can't replace the pic that's allready here?

Beautiful shot, Gina... if I may make one recommendation, try Auto-Contrast if you use Phootoshop 7 or CS... or simply open Levels and move the right slider to the left to brighten the image. But it's still a beautiful photo. Don
