That really is a hood over the two girls (who are actually sisters). I just had trouble keeping both of them under it.

I agree with both of you about the aperture, but that little one is such a whirling dynamo that I felt lucky to keep her inside the frame of the picture. With my G3's slow autofocus and the shutter lag, she had already moved into a new focal plane by the time the autofocus had locked onto her. "Don't move" doesn't seem to be part of her working vocabulary.

The composition, cropping, colors, and play on words are great. Beautiful picture. I agree about the aperture.

We are having lots of rain here lately, so hoods are very useful. A smaller aperture and/or changing the focal point would bring the lower girl in a bit sharper - Neil
