All Flies Welcome

Our Garden

This plant smells really awful and thus attracts flies that polinate it. It is a beautiful color but a very strange plant. We have it because a stranger gave us a bulb at the Bellingham Farmer's Market a couple of years ago. The bloom is about a foot tall.

wow, what a unique plant. Those look like nice velvety Giant petals, to bad it smells that awful. Does it stay like that all year long? It just wouldn't look right wilted... even stranger. - Techo :-)
