There's no rule that says a photo can't be recycled, is there? ;)

Then I'd better forget it. My area of knowledge is quite far from engineering!

They're awfully expensive to buy - check outhttp://www.kapturegroup.com/ for example - but it's possible to build your own. I'm an electronic engineer - 'nuff said :)

Nice, I didn't even know there where sound triggers

Thanks :) It took about a dozen shots to get the angle and lighting right, but I only had to smash the one bottle - the sound trigger ensures that the flash fires exactly as the bottle hits the ground, every time.

awesome shot, lighting, approach, perfect timing. I am curious as to how many takes this took.

This is a pretty good photograph. Nice capture, lighting, and composition. I also contemplated using a breaking bottle picture. This turned out very cool.

I had thought about getting photos of a breaking bottle but didn't know where I'd get all the bottles I'd probably need, how to break them without getting glass in myself or a helper, and didn't relish the thought of cleaning up afterwards. Better you than me. Good stop-action shot, by the way.
