Lemons: Lined up for tea*

Camera: s410
Been experimenting with my new Canon s410 :-), it's a really fine pocketcam. New to photography in general so I hope you like the pic. I'm sure you pros will find something to critique about it.

I think that this is a very good shot, and on my laptop looks like enough of the whites are not overexposed.

Actually, I'm one of the least experts here! But a firm believer that sharing tips makes the whole better photographers. About the monitor, I'd suggest that you search "monitor calibration". It is a whole world in itself.

Thanks for the kind comments Nugar. I agree perhaps the photo is too bright, I can adjust the brightness a tad lower. I almost never set the contrast and brightness of my moniter to 100% each, I usually set the brightness below 80% and contrast ~90%. I have an older Viewsonic P815, good monitor. I understand results can vary but are there any suggestions concerning what contrast/brightness ratio to be set for the monitor when viewing photos?

Thanks very much!

edit: I re-upload the photo with the brightness lowered a bit. Let me know if looks better :-)
You sharing your expertise is really appreciated.

I like the composition of the photo, Techo. The only thing I would do is try to expose for the white areas. As it is, it seems overexposed. It may be my monitor too!
