Glass & steel (*)

Paris, France

Took this one today, when looking for interesting bugs for macro shots. It's pretty unusual structure. Unfortunately the image is distorted ;( but there was no space to go back and change the zoom.

Canon PowerShot S400
1/1000s f/7.1 at 7.4mm full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

It's handheld :) All the technique is explained well but on a french forum. If not on Ixus, an 50mm can be put backwards with filter adapters (like UV one) on G series, and also on DSLR's.

great shot of an unusual building. By the way, could you tell us how you fix your 50mm lens backwards on your camera for macro shots?
Thanks,
Julian

Thanks for the kind comments. Now I don't have too much time chooting landscapes and others. I'm specialising in Macro at the moment with an 50mm used backwards in front of my Ixus. You can see some pictures in my macro/bugs gallery athttp://jordan.krushkov.free.fr/Photos/Snimki.htm :)

Maybe a bit distorted but I still like it. Interesting building and great reflections on the windows. Ann C
