The Flower ( * )

Narromine, Australia

The Flower - Kasey Chambers

Well this flower is my soul
But it's not half of what I owe
I should give you every rose that I ever grew
But take this one here for a start
And you can keep it in your heart
I have everything I need because of you

This is nice. I think the face might be too dark, but maybe that's good, since it draws attention to the flower.

By the way, I love Kasey Chambers. "Barricades and Brickwalls" was the only CD I bought in 2002. After seeing this, I went to her Australian website, hoping to find a sample of this song. It wasn't there, but there were a lot of other songs that I could listen to. On her North American website, you can listen to "Barricades and Brickwalls" in its entirety. The site also features animated photographs that start in black-and-white and then gradually increase in saturation. Very cool.

Great composition and lighting. I see a kind of layers on the model face and shadows. Are these JPG artifacts or is it intentional?

Well chosen effect. Kasey Chambers-I could do a self portrait-not pretty enough

Nice subdued color on the Rose and the lyrics well chosen.

WOW! What can I say... Great impact on the viewer. The shadow dominating in the picture, the dreamy effect on the rose and the sky. Fantactic realisation and idea!
