Turn the Page-By Mike Kraus

I believe the original song was done by Bob Seiger. Metallica did a cover version. A sad song about the long hard weeks a band spends on the road.

Yes I know there is lens flair, and the candle is glowing. I had a version of this with no lens flair and a dimmer candle, but this one stood out as my favorite. Added a little gausian blur to soften up the image and give it a dreamier feeling. I know lens flair is a no no, but I still like this one. I hope others agree :-).

Thanks Jordan, I think I could have done a little better if I had a 50mm 1.8 lens. I was trying to do the shot with a lens that was f3.5 wide open and in a room that is dimly lit, it was tough to get the lighting right.

Very nice picture and great idea. I like the light provided by the candle than lit the open page. Gaussian blur is a success for me, and the flare is not so noticeable.
