Helicopter by night (*)

Paris, France

Today it was cloudy and rainy again, so I couldn't make good day shots, and was very anxius. So I took my camera and went out to make some night shots, and surprisingly the helicopters were outside during the night and not in the hangars so I was lucky :) Heliport is just 10min away from my building, so I'm very lucky and can practice close-ups and "sport" shots.

Thanks for the comments guys. I've cloned out the distracting white objects and hope is better.

Nugar, I prefear to keep the black front part, because this way you see better the circle of light comming from the public lights. Don't you think that it emphasis the focus on helicopter in the darkness?

Paul, i'll post soon a gallery with the helicopter shots i've taken (ripper_b gallery) so maby you could take a look and give me some advices how to improve my shots?

I'd say clone the blocks and crop the black band in the lower edge. Great capture

Jordan, does this mean you have a Canon DSLR in your future? ;-) I like aviation photography so this is interesting to me. The white concrete blocks on the right are distracting, though and you might darken them in post-processing.
