Actually, I had to crop some off the right of the photo to eliminate the glare from the light. In order to keep the balance I would have liked, too much of his hand and guitar would have been cropped from the left, and I didn't want to lose those elements. What bothers me most is the sharpness of the blinds in the background, but I'm still learning PS and I think I'm finding a way to unsharpen them. I miss the greater control of DOF from my old film SLRs. --Mary Anne

I keep looking at this and wondering whether you consciously chose to break the rules. On the one hand, it's kind of disturbing to see him looking out of the frame. On the other hand, we all know what he's looking at. --Garrett
