Thank you all for the comments. When I looked at the scene, it was the shadows on the wall that grabbed my attention and that is why they are the focus of the image.
Or better yet, moved a tiny bit to the right so the sofa wasn't cut. Great compo, great colors. Looks inviting...

A warm and cozy room. I'd feel very comfortable sitting there. The far left edge of the image is a wall or door or some other vertical element. I would have cropped that out.
