This pic is one to remember as opposed to overwhelming majority of kid pics posted by parents. Warm colors on dark background and especially the face expression create very intimate feeling

Thanks guys. :) Shhhhhhhhh.... don't let hubby hear you say this though or he'll never let me buy lights! LOL! ~ Lonnit

Lonnit, save your money and don't buy professional lighting....stick with Fischer Price! These cheap little light sources make for much more creative and intimate lighting. Sweet photo's, all of them, and your 5 year olds did a wonderful job as your lighting directors.

Thanks Mary Anne. I really enjoyed shooting these pictures since I never really worked with lighting before, except for the book I painted with light for one challenge. I see that I could get very hooked on lighting! ~ Lonnit

This is such a lovely image... I don't know if professional lighting could improve on it. The soft light and the dark featureless background make the picture special. You have a wonderful eye for photos, as well as a great model. --Mary Anne

Thanks Fly. :) You make do with what you have! LOL! I really want to get some lights, especially now that I see what can be done with them. It's time to do my homework and figure out what I need. In the meantime, I guess it's Fisher Price and Maglites! LOL! ~ Lonnit

Lonnit, You and Gayle should go into business selling lighting products. 8-) You get the best shots of your kids. theFly
