Are you Hosting a Challenge?

Responsibilities of the Challenge Host








Congratulations! You've won a CTF Challenge! Now what do you do?



Here are the suggested responsibilities of a Challenge host. If at any time you have questions or problems just post a message in the forum.
There are lots of friendly challengers willing to assist


If you are unwilling or unable to accept all or most of these responsibilities it is strongly suggested that you enter photographs in the Exhibition Category only.






Pick the new challenge topic


This can be announced in the Challenge Winner Thread



Post the Thread for the new Challenge


You can copy and paste the first post from a previous challenge

Be sure to change dates and any other information that requires a change!

Set up the galleries



See the Gallery Setup Tutorial in the FAQ Gallery



Monitor the Challenge


*This also includes moving oversized photos, file sizes over 150KB(153,600 bytes), to the Pending gallery. Please post a message in the forums detailing which photos were or are to be moved there.


Lead the way in making comments on images



Announce the opening of the Voting Booth



Start a new thread for the voting booth


Announce the winner



Start a new thread announcing the top five places in both Galleries


Clean up after the Challenge



Move the top five vote getters in the Eligible Gallery to the top.

Move the top five vote getters in the Exhibition Gallery to the top

Delete the Pending Gallery* (Wait until the next Challenge Galleries are set up)

*To Delete the Pending Gallery you must first delete all the images in it. Please be very careful and make sure you're in edit mode for the Pending gallery.
