A special thanks to our friends at the Sony Talk Forum Challenge where the images
and text for this tutorial was "borrowed" in full!
Only a few minor changes were made to make this more appropriate to the
Canon Talk Forum Challenges.

The Galleries
Here are the galleries for the pbase account name ctfchallenge. I entered
using the url www.pbase.com/ctfchallenge. If you do not see
"edit root gallery" you may need to "logout" (up at the top right) and
then login again using the user name, and entering the password. Click
on the gallery you want to add a photo to.
See the challenge thread to find out how to acquire the userid and password.

Challenges consists of two "sub galleries." One is Eligible and the other
is Exhibition. Notice it says "edit this gallery" at the top. Let's pick
eligible for display purposes.

Inside the sub Gallery
We are now in the sub gallery, "Eligible" for challenge 19 gallery. Notice
the name (left) is displayed, along with a message underneath. To add your
photo click on the word "edit" top left.

Find the upload image button
You may have to scroll down to see the section "upload images to this gallery."
Click on the browse button (see red circled area). Navigate to where your
photo is located. Once you see the path or image name in the box you can
then click on the button that says "upload image." Depending on your i
nternet speed and the size of the file, this could take a minute or two
or even longer. My screen blanks and I get a new screen. The upload image
area is not blank, and at the very top of the screen is a message "uploaded
image (image name).

Look for your image
Scroll down to the bottom of the screen, and you should see a list of
thumbnails. Yours should be at the bottom, sometimes with a "creating
thumbnails" message.
You can tell by the name of the file that it is your image. Click on
the word edit if you want to update your title and information about
your photo.
Important: do NOT click "represent" -- this function is required
by the Challenge host to identify the gallery.

Name and Description for your photo
Here is where you can give your photo a title (1) and
add a caption that will appear under the photo (2).
You can also add your name as "artist" and information about the photo.
You can also be creative and change the background and text color (on
top of update image) if you are familiar with web colors. For the web
background color, be sure to add a # before the number.
When you are done, hit the button "update image." Up at the top you
can click "view image" to see how your changes look.
If you know html you can use bold, italic, center, change font size, etc.
Another very important note: When titling the photo please make sure the same title isn't already used by some other entry or else your photo may not appear in the voting booth
Please do not delete, update, or otherwise edit others' entries
