Blowin' Sad (*)

Sale, Australia

This is my favourite image of 2004. Taken at a local music festival, this harmonica player was missing his left hand but that didn't stop him at all. He was fabulous! I love his posture, it shows his complete absorption in his music. This was a "one-shot wonder"....I raised the camera, clicked the shutter and loved the result. The song was Van Morrison's "Brown Eyed Girl".

with the 300D should be easier than with the A70 before :)
Same as Nugar I can't stay steady with my S400, too small.

Steady hand! I have problems above(below?) 1/50

Handheld. I can handhold up to 1/6 second without a problem, the best I have done was 1.6 seconds.

I like it too. You positioned yourself nicely relative to the background. 1/30s... hand held? Monopod?
