Size Matters II

Best viewed at "Original" size

Can you see the difference between each layer.

The original image was saved with Photo Shop CS using the "Save As" function setting the compression bar from 1 to 10. A slice of each image was then copied into this graphic which was again saved at compression 10. The file size of each saved image is listed belows its slice.

Compression is a function of detail in the image and this is a detailed image. Getting it as close to 150K for this image might be important.

Without something to compare it with, how would you know?

Is there a significant difference between the 145K version and the 407K version. It's impossible to tell without the images side by side.
