He was supposed to be sacrificed to the God of New Constructions (or somesuch)
but the villa's owners decided to keep him instead.

Hi Bee... thanks for your comments. They sacrifice a dog when construction is complete... in other words, they kill it. Don

Interesting compo. and nice alert dog... I have to admit, Don, that I didn't get the bit of the sacrifice to the God of New Construction??? Pls. be more expansive just for me? ;-) Cheers, Bee
