Oh this is good, Lee! The layers, the composition, the detail. Very strong image all round. I once saw a documentary about an old guy who is painting a mountain somewhere in the US. I wanna meet him one day.

The arch is part of a four sided monument. From a distance it looks good, but once you get up close the monument is not in very good shape. The building is also old getting a new coat of paint and cleanup. theFly

I like the window effect you've achieved here, which works well with the juxtaposition of old and new. The crumbling archway intrigues me too--is it really about to fall apart, as it appears?
