Do not conceal your talents or abilities. Don’t be too modest to set others a good example.

During the sermon on the mount, Jesus said to his disciples:
“Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid.
Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick;
and it giveth light to all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men,
that they may see our good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”

This is a candle on our terrace under a bamboo fishtrap
(the closest I could come to a bushel in Hong Kong).
