Antique and Modern

Bellingham

The lightbulbs in the forground are antique ones my father collected. The light in the back is one of those full spectrum lights used to chase away the winter blues and help people with SAD.

Strong entry in both challenges Ann. Looks like careful planning has gone into this one. I love the way the word is written *inside* the bulb. Well lit, well composed.

Ann, this is really beuatiful. I love the understated elegance, and I particularly like how you've captured (and in perfect clarity) the fragility of the old bulbs.
Every time I think my own photography is improving, I see one of your shots and I realise I have a long way to go :-) Thanks for keeping me inspired.

This is a really well done image. The exposure is spot on, and I really like the lighting and reflections too.
