Oliver and Lefty (*)

Lefty? Well this little stuffed bear is Oliver's FAVORITE chew toy and it seems that his right arm has disappeared!

I usually don't do much post processing. Usually there's some level adjustment and USM. In this picture I did clone out the label of the rug that was visible and I made some dust disappear.

Great pic! One question Pops: The richness of the colors.. is it straight out of the camera, or with post processing? I find that with my G3, I have to post process everything. Not that I'm complaining :o)

The expression on the puppy is priceless. I like the framing too.

Nice try Ann. As I was carring Oliver out to the car my wife woke me up and asked me just where I was going! ;-)

Andreas, I agree with you about the floor and rug but dogs lie when they do and it seems they always like to lie on something. I'll deal with teh dust and update the image.

Thanks to everyone for the nice comments

Love it Pops!! What can I say that hasn't been said already?

Great image. I really like the richness of the colors and the framing is great. The expression captured in the dogs eyes is amazing. The only things I would change is to have the dog lay on the bare wood rather than the rug, and to clone out the dust specs on the wood underneath and to the right of the stuffed animal.
I am envious... my G2 is back at Canon for repairs, so I will not be competing with this image :(

Pops, you are getting sleepy... you are falling into a trance... now you are asleep. Okay, now carefully put Oliver into a carrier and take the next plane to Bellingham Washington. Drive to Ann Chaikin's house and give her Oliver. Drive back to the airport and fly home... you will not remember this hypnotic moment. (grin) Yes, he is so wonderfully cute that I want him! ;) Ann

Very, very cute. I even like the suttle reflection on your hardwood floor.

Pops, this is simply adorable, and I hope we get to see many more photos of that gorgeous puppy as he grows up. Well done on getting him to stay still!

What a lovely moment. Puppy dog eyes indeed. A nice wealth of tones, frame I like but maybe a bit large borderwise. Good of him to pose in this way for you!
