Thanks for the comments guys! I was struggling with the DOF and couldn't quite manage to get the entire car sharp. I might have to re-shoot if I have time. As for the colour, let's just say I didn't feel like re-painting it. Besides a blue 456 looks good IMHO. /Gowan

A touch more DOF would help immensely. But the composition and lighting are both appropriately dramatic. Nicely done.

Hey a 300D. That's new for you isn't it?

Anyway, I like the light and hard shadows, seamless background, typography, the lot in fact. I can imagine this pic with a full size car in the showroom. Only real crit - focus is on the back of the car. I'd have liked the whole thing in focus. Maybe your focus should have been around the interior area of the open door, with a smaller aperture. Just MHO. Real good effort otherwise.

But come on, an advert with anything other than a red Ferrari? ;-)
