This little fella has so many great expressions. Not sure about the position/angle of the speakers, should they be angled in a bit - probably not but I thought I'd mention it.

Hi Andreas - Yes the seperation of forehead and background could have been better. It's basically because the light on the background had not been sufficiently blocked from spilling onto the main subject. Oh well...... And the font - isn't it funny, you're the second person to pick up on it - but it's a font I regularly use for adverts and artworks in the course of my day job! Still, it's a photo challenge yes?

Iso, I really like your studio lighting and the composition of the image itself. The expression captured on your son's face is great. Technically, the only minor faults I could find were what looks like a bit of CA on the border of his sweater, and the low contrast between the background and a few of the highlights around the forehead and hands. The only other thing I would change about this "ad" is the font of the text. I can't put my finger on it, but there is something about the font that I do not associate with a "professional" looking ad. Other than that, its a great image, I have alot to learn from your studio shots.
Hope I am not being too harsh.

Haha you bought back memories Paul - I used to play in a band that performed the 1812 overture in the full - canons and all. Boy were they loud!!!!
Great pic ISO - how do you get your kids to pose for you? mine are very unwilling subjects these days.

I meant FINALE.

What this REALLY needs is the finally to the 1812 Overture. You know, the part with the cannons...? Very creative and well realized as always. Iso Jr reminds me of that kid in Home Alone.

Bach's Taccata & Fugue is something like ten minutes long. You really need to be playing Scheherazade by Rimsy-Korsakov as it runs 45 minutes! LOL - Great picture

Ha ha ha snigger. Hope that's Bach's Tocatta and Fugue at full volume you are playing on those speakers. That ought to do it. :) (Course if I were the kid I'd be loving it and pretending not to.) LOL Ann C

Somehow I suspect I'll be paying him for the rest of my life ;-)

Another excellent image from ISO. Your son is great with the expression. Since I am kidless, I will take your word for it. :)

Yep, revenge is very sweet! Loud speakers, hung over 19 yo son, country music, light opera, best served at 10am on a Sunday morning right outside the recipients bedroom door ;-) That'll teach him to hold a party in our garage that went all night!
Great pic, cute kid (send him to acting school, he's a natural) and excellent concept!

Gayle
PS. From one parent to another...they only get louder as they get older ;-)

LOL. Like it - great colour, composition, lighting etc. as always, excellent pose and expression from Iso junior too! I think if it was a serious ad the font / layout of the text might be a bit different but can't put my finger on it. Do ad's tend to use italics?
