It's dinner...did she remember to put the meat out to defrost? Or....she got a phone call from teen daughters high school teacher and she's thinking up just punishment. (Believe me, I KNOW that look...I saw it on my own face yesterday!)
Don, you have a really good aim with that cam, and you do this so very well.

Gayle -- 50% of the value of the G-series cameras for me are the flip-out viewfinders. But this and the "Butterflies" shot were taken "blind" -- just aiming by instinct. You still look quite conspicuous in cramped quarters staring down at your belt buckle.
Jim -- maybe next stop, but more likely something more serious. The reason I was able to get this shot was this woman held this pose for at least a minute. She was _really_ concerned.
I think she's worrying about what she's gonna cook for dinner (it's a female thing, we can read each others minds, even through photos ;-)
Canind shots like these make me with I had a flip out LCD screen. These are amongst my favourite ones to take and to look at.

I didn't use flash -- in fact if I could disable flash so that it never accidentally fired, I would. It was handheld at 1/15th second, f2.0. I held the camera vertically in my right hand at waist level, steadied myself on the nearest pole, waited for the train movement to slow, and shot by instinct rather than using the viewfiner. With a little practice, you can get quite accurate and your subject will never know. -- Don Ellis
