This reflecting pool is at the Australian War Memorial in Canberra. Behind the arches are plaques with the names of every known Australian soldier who died defending our country. There are such a lot of them. Through the doorway at the end is the tomb of the unknown soldier, representing all those who are buried in unmarked graves around the world. An eternal flame positioned at the end of the pool burns in remembrance of them all. This is one of the most peaceful yet emotion charged places I have ever visited. Lest we forget.
