Seagulls everywhere during chick-raising time of the year so a bird in the shot was par for the course, just a matter of artistic placement (ie: wait for the right one to come along)

The background is a natural feature called the Nobbies, and further out to sea is Seal Rocks.

Great idea, and it must have taken some patience. The seagull could have been a bit more prominant for the off-centre theme. The location makes me homesick - I've spent most of my life in South Gippsland, and am now living in South Australia
