I particularly like this macro. Placing the bee off centre upsets the symmetry enough to make it more interesting. The wings are nicely *glasslike* and fragile looking.

Thanks for the comments. I deliberatly went for a more soft approach on this one, only the center part of the image has been sharpened. The rest is as from the camera (low sharpening), it might have benefited from a slight unsharp mask throughout though.

This could almost be a calender photo! Love the composition, and the cropping, colours, everything. VERY well done!

I like this picture as the colours are nice, there is no distraction as the background is plain and you've got a frame full of flower and insect. The centre is also very sharp and detailed which is nice. Only comment would be that I think it looks a little 'soft' - I had a play with sharpening it in Photoshop and (in my humble opinion) it improved the picture, did you/do you normally sharpen your pictures at all ?
