Photography is about illusion and u have created a great illusion. The frames are brilliant!

Damn...I knew putting the details on photosig would be revealing my tricks before the voting happened. Hopefully no-one will be any the less impressed that this wasn't taken with the shuttle flying through the air! In short - I had a pen stuck in a shuttlecock that was clamped in place by a bulldog clip and stapler combination. A desk lamp shone on it and a cool mini-tripod. I had to remove the pen from the shuttlecock using PS and also had to remove the wall background from the racket (taken using a combination of room and daylight against a room wall). Dunno how i'll follow on from this style wise - I don't want to make this my 'style' :)

Paul, having read the "background" on this image on Photosig, I can appreciate it all the more. Isn't it amazing what we can come up with when we're pushed? Desk lamps, banana's....makes me wonder how the professionals manage with all that high-tech equpment at their disposal!

This works very well, I like the frames and the overlapping elements too. Gowan

Spooky...I was wondering how you knew it was me - then saw the sig comment - i'll review the critique now, thanks for doing that. Must've been tired after spending all afternoon trying to get this shot and forgot to put my name on it ! I did think...hmmm..maybe I should take another pic for other side....but I guess I was getting frustrated by then - need more patience for next time. Really nice to have some comments, it was quite fiddly getting this right. Thanks to you both.

You've found your feet with this one Paul. You know I like it. I've left a full critique on Sig for you. Defintitely feel you should have shot a seperate image for frame 3, instead of mirroring frame 1 - but it's still excellent.

This is very, very clever....the subjects slightly overlapping the borders, a feeling of movement and a nice overall feel. Excellent take on the "Flight" theme!
