Very impressed with this shot. It sure looked like it was flying to me.

ISO, "Frozen the action" LOL! RC Planes must go about 30+ MPH to get airborn. And that swinging prop is like a razor blade. There is NO WAY I'm standing in front of one when it takes off. What you don't see in this picture is almost more important than what you do. My friends, R H and Ron were holding the wing tips, the engine was at idle and the plane wasn't moving at all. Yea, I did a little clone work to remove Ron's shadow. Thanks for the good words!
Good one Pops. Border nicely done - use of the diagonal on wings works well. But the actual picture is very good too. Don't know how fast these things go at take off but you've frozen the action pretty well to my eye. Vivid G series camera colours come out well against the asphalt background. I guess a little motion blur captured from the propeller is just too hard to achieve on a plane this size. Great pic. One to be proud of. And I actually thought you'd enter an RC plane picture for this challenge! ;-)

Pops, I started flying R/C when I was 12, and am still completely crazy about it (thus my pursuit of an aerospace degree). I love that nervous anxienty I get before taking off, and the smell of nitro in the air has to rank among my favorite sensory stimuli. In any case, I can completely relate to your love of flight. Nice photo by the way :-)

The border idea works really well. I love this picture, but it isn't my love that it is supposed to convey - and although it is a great picture (must've been tough to take too) I don't get the 'warm feeling of love' from it that I would be looking for in the challange. I hope that isn't too harsh and as I said I think it is an excellent picture and the border makes it come alive.
