This is a case of love. I never tire of looking out across Lake Whatcom from our deck. These are just a few of the pictures I've taken of the scene. Those of you who are most observant might notice that the trees on the right seem to disappear in the shot on the top right. You are correct. Our neighbor cut down two big trees this year. I was sad to see the maple go. The Christmas tree that grew into a monster was well gone. But when they both went away, our view opened up. I was very happy about that.
