The scale is pretty close to 1:1, about life size on your monitor.

It was really hard to get any details, as it was an extremely bright day, with the left
side in full sun and the right side in almost total shadow - it was hard even to see
it with my eye, never mind the camera - the shot was bracketed 6 times and this was the best I could get - thought the light was dramatic enough to keep it interesting.

Interesting interpretation of "portrait". The texture of the stone on the right side is lovely.

The entire bottom left side seems blown out on my monitor?

Also, it's hard to tell the scale of the gargoyle from this photo.
