Sharon - thanks and it isn't the text but the contrast that I like, and the fact that it includes information about the scene. I have worked on a picture that I took of this guy alone (he's kind of dramatic).... Maybe I'll post it, we'll see..

Wonderful street portrait, Penny! I can't decide if it would be a stronger photo with the text cropped off the top or not. Have you tried it that way? Nonetheless, it's fascinating! ~Sharon

I agree, the b/w toning looks great here. You've captured the character in a special stance with a great expression, and got just enough detail in his eyes.

Geez the highlights & shadows complimenting his face & body work really great here. The B&W with the rich blacks & good tones look beautiful to an ole B&W fan like me. Great work Penny.
