I must admit that I saw this technique in AfterCapture magazine a while back. No my 400D isn't that bad, there's added grain.

Thanks Jano and Tommy. The gentleman in AC magazine did have fierce eyes and it did set it off well. Maybe I could play with the liquify tool and see what happens. -Doug

This one works well for me. Only thing missing is some intensity in the eyes. Thoughtful Photoshoppy work all in all. -tv

I have also found a lot of techniques through AC, PS Mag, and others. Great useful tools. Obviously you learn well ;) Great image. jano
