Well, this was worth all your effort, John, as it is truly beautiful. I'm just glad that you--and your camera--made it back without mishap. What we won't do for our "ahhrt!"

I'm back. Thanks everyone for your comments. I put my PP version of this into exhibition at a slightly smaller size to accommodate sharpening.

I love this one, with the rainbow sneaking through. Penny Street

I extra bit of sharpening really did some wonders on the final shot you posted on your flickr page. If the resize method I posted in the forums is allowed, I think it might work well for this shot.

This and the two others from the highway series are my picks from the shots you've posted. The hint of the little rainbow on the bottom makes this stand out for me.

I can't Sue Anne. Pbase telling me that everything is in read mode. That is why I haven't even changed the titles or moved the other two. - John

Very nicely done of the whole Falls and a rainbow captured in there too.
Can you add your name to the artist ????

http://www.flickr.com/photos/johnprichard is my upload stream called photostream in flickr. the sets are along the side. My last 3 submittals are my last 3 uploads. Use either the "all sizes" button on the top of the picture or the slideshow button located on the right or sometimes I put in a view on black link in the caption. -John

You may as well post the linky John as I don't know who will remember where your picys are. I can see part of the rainbow at the bottom third. Nice picy mate.

I did very little PP to this image. The rock was a little brighter than I remember so I dropped the brighter part a 1/4 stop, lightened the foreground tree a little and sharpened the image. You know where to find it. -John

We weren't going to climb 250 ft at 8000 ft elevation. But it was the end of the drive for today and we got here a little early so why not. I got many good shots but wondered if there was a rainbow in the spray. A very precarious climb and there was no footing so I am leaning and holding a tree with sap that got on the camera and Theresa is pushing on my backside to make sure I don't loose my footing. Sure enough there was a rainbow that no one else will see except through my eyes. Unfortunately I only shot twice because of my footing and because of the wind it kept changing so my timing only caught partial glimpses. Still worth it. -John

This will replace my lonesome Indian Spirit entry.
