This is what I expected of this challenge. It is clearly flat light which I feel is much different than diffused light. -Doug

That's strange Mary Anne as the tonal range here looks very small & flat as though it hasn't been PP. Maybe Konstantin was being too literal with the flat light topic as this looks way too flat for me. The subject & composition works really well though.

The range of tones is wonderful here, not to mention the subject and composition of the picture. Just a little niggle here...I would LOVE to see a bit more contrast and sharpness in his face. But it's still a great shot!
