Excellent handling of the topical light. Gritty and gray and I love the eel-like shapes in the stone work. -tv

Thanks Doug:-) The rest of the picy is really good:-)

I miss out on most of the picture since I'm mesmerized by the hole, always staring right into it. -Doug

Thanks Penny & John:-) This is different picy of the same wall. I suppose it doesn't look as flat as the first one a. I did like the plant on the first one but.

I am not speaking for the light - but I like the other one far better. But I'm probably in the minority here (as usual). Penny Street

Does this one work any better?

Thanks Penny & Mary Anne:-) Some sun would have made it more interesting a. Hopefully we will get an overcast day soon.

Ditto what Penny said. But what I really want to see is a low angle of light and shadows falling across all those textures. I guess that's why I chose this topic...to see what kinds of subjects and approaches work best in flat light.

It's manly, alright. Excellent job with the textures and contrasts. I can almost see into that pipe (except I dont want to). I love the way that root leads down to the hole. Penny Street
